Manitoba Raised Crickets
Unlike the black field cricket you hear in the garage, these tropical house or banded crickets (gryllodes sigillatus) are raised on our farm in their very own, very warm cricket barn.
Adding cricket powder to your diet is great for the environment. Farming crickets requires less land, produces less greenhouse gas emissions and uses less feed and water than traditional sources of protein.
The crickets are milled into a fine powder that has a mild flavour and blends well. This protein powder is the perfect addition to smoothies. It can also be called cricket flour and can easily be added to many recipes you're already cooking up in the kitchen.
